was the catalyst for The Rippers, both getting the band together to begin |

and responsible for the current batch of gigs at The Arches. As Vocalist, |
| Freddie
was chief lyricist for the band, and usually the focus of Press attention. |

often controversial lyrics are socially conscious and social observations
of life |
| that
are simply the fingerprints of human behaviour, from an offset view. |
